Pacific City Dory fishing; Come explore the waters off Oregon’s Coast. Fish, crab and tour the region aboard our Pacific City Dory Boat, Miss Bliss.

“Good Morning, Captain Marty is on the Water!”

Each morning, once we’ve made it past the breakers, I hop on the radio to announce our presence to the other captains. It’s one of the many ways we all support each other as captains in this unique fishery.

“Safety first” but having fun is a very close second! I truly enjoy my days on the water with you and I’m sure you will too!!

Yours, Captain Marty Wisehart

The Dory Fleet of Pacific City is a rich part of the region’s history and an experience not to be missed!

A Pacific City Dory Fishing day starts with an exhilarating launch from our port at Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, “The Cove”. Following the launch you’ll cruise westward along Cape Kiawanda towards the Haystack, “Pacific Rock”.

A diverse fishery lies just off the beach at Pacific City.

Ling Cod, Black Rockfish, Blue Deacon, Cabazon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Halibut, Sand Dab, Dunganess Crab & more. And later in the summer the Pacific City Dory fishing fleet will make trips offshore to fish the runs of young Albacore Tuna.
