Beach it.
It all begins on the beach, not a dock. You’ll stand aboard the boat during a briefing from your captain then push through the shorebreak and launch into the sea! Remember to look around, see the sights and stay in the moment. Ask questions, identify some wildlife and learn about the beautiful Tillamook Coast!
Dream it.
You’ve dreamed of hauling in a big Lingcod with a stout, premium baitcasting rod, or longed for a limit of Rockfish, casting lightweight swim baits with a fun, simple spin rod. A favorite are fly rods for the many species of Rockfish or trolling flies for Coho and Chinook. It’s not uncommon to sight-fish for Rockfish near structure or hit ‘em on the surface with dry flies during a crab spawn!! All this while the summer resident Gray Whales meander about, eagles fly overhead and the Sea Lions make their noise while lounging on the buoy.
Get it.
When the getting is good your day could include trolling for Coho (Silvers), slamming big Lingcod, drifting through the Halibut bed, running downriggers for Chinook (Kings), Bucktailing for salmon or even a trip out for some hand line, Albacore insanity! The trip ends with a run onto the beach but not before stopping by the crab pots to pull your limits of Dunganess. And all the while remember to look around, ask questions and take in the wonder that is the Tillamook Coast.
CHARTER OPTIONS
CLASSIC - target 2 fish species (fly or trad.) & crabbing 4-5 hours $300 per person
FLY FISHING - target 1 fish species & crabbing 3-4 hours $225 per person
CRABBING - crabbing 1-5 people, 1-2 hours $425 per boat trip
CUSTOM - let’s build a trip specific to you and your group $TBD
Fish are kept cold aboard the boat then processed & vacuum sealed.
Crab are cleaned then cooked in salt water before going home with you.
